Adam Gorm Hoffmann

Welcome to my home page! I am a PhD student in biostatistics at the University of Copenhagen with a particular interest in Bayesian statistics. My current research focuses on Bayesian nonparametric methods for longitudinal data, and I have also worked on applications in psychiatric and clinical cohort research.

I have a BSc in mathematics and an MSc in statistics, both from the University of Copenhagen. During my studies, I have taught statistics to students in mathematics, public health, and medicine at BSc, MSc, and PhD levels.

From 2021 to 2025, I was a board member of Young Statisticians Denmark, where I helped organize statistics events. These included two film screenings with introductory talks at Cinemateket! You are likely to find me there, even when they have no statistics events. If not, then I might be reading on one of the city's many benches or going for a walk in the sun.
